An attorney for more than 18 years, Jennifer Williams has served the Florida Judiciary as supervising attorney for research and drafting, and as appointed special master.

Also note that a sale, regardless of where its is finalized, that is based on negotiations that took place at the seller's place of business, and sales where no written sales contract exists because the transaction took place completely by telephone or mail, are also excluded. Ask the state Consumer Protection Agency as to how much time the vendor has to refund the purchase price, including shipping if relevant, after the contract is canceled.
Ask also how many days the vendor has to retrieve the merchandise before it is free to be kept by the business.

"The goal should be to have an agreement that's reasonable, fair and enforceable to both parties," Wallack says.
If this is in regards to the sale of real property or unique goods, chances are pretty low that you can get out of it. If this were not so, car dealers would have serious financial and inventory problems, as most vehicles that are bought have a waiting period for delivery.\n Therefore, a lawsuit will likely stand up in court if the dealer chooses to pursue damages for breach of contract on the part of the buyer.
