I’m a girl, an American-Indian girl, and therefore am not Swedish.

That said, I am posting this on his behalf as he brought an item out today and said "i've never been able to figure out what this is" and I said "we'll figure it out dad" but I have no idea how.

Quite possibly Italian 1920s The helmet is highly stylized and has the look of the type of kitsche item mass produced in Italy during Mussolinis dictatorship.
The only markings on this is "M4" I am very curious about it's age, origin and use. The stars are not anything I've seen in anything actually ancient Roman.
